Update

 It’s been a bit. I’m still doing well. I juice for 2 meals per day. I’ll have some healthy snacks in between and eat 1 meal per day. Also healthy.  My mood has improved as well.  I have noticed that my BM’s are more solid and clean that previously.  I haven’t hit the gym much this week. I started a new last week and I’m trying to get into a routine. It’s a poor excuse, but a bonus I get steps in because I am on my feet.  I’m currently at the gym and did a weight check before starting and I’m at 156.8 so I’m staying consistent and haven’t gained.  That’s all for now. I’m going to finish this work out. 

Fasting Day 13

 I honestly cant believe that it has been nearly 2 weeks of juicing. I have to say I am really enjoying it. I dont crave food. My stomach will growl if I am hungry, but I am not craving anything. On day 11 I did eat a small salad with grilled chicken, it was date night! 🤷🤷 I have added Tumeric Curcumin to my juice as well. Here is why if you're curious.  Yesterday, getting dressed for the gym I noticed my clothes fit a little differently. I took a few pics after looking in the mirror and I am quite proud of my accomplishments. In 2020 I have lost 20 pounds and some inches ( I never measured)  Here I am, I am 39 years old. I have had 3 children. I am not ashamed to walk around in this body! I am proud of it.  I am hitting the gym multiple times per week and just focusing on cardio right now. I have lots of energy.  As for my moods, well I feel like I am having more and more anxiety attacks over random things. But overall I am doing ok at the moment. 

Fasting day 9 and 10

TMI moment!!  You’ve been warned    Noting for reference that I did poop a small amount both days in the morning.  I mention this because in a few of my groups some have mentioned constipation.  Yesterday I did get what I believe is my period. This is worth mentioning because my last period started August 9.  It has only been 17 days. I’ve got to do some research on this.  I was able to donate plasma again. This time I don’t think I added the protein powder to my juice before hand but my protein was still I believe 6.3, but she could have said 6.5.  My weight was 157.8 also.  It has also been almost a full week with one taking my allergy meds  I believe the last one I took was Friday night  it’s now Thursday. I have never been able to go this long. Not to mention the temps have been up and down which usually sets me off   My anxiety has been all over the place recently. Confessions part 1

 Lets be real? I am struggling. I am not ok.  I know this is a new blog and may.... I just realized I was making excuses for sharing my feelings. Im good at that.  My name is Kristen and I am struggling! I have a lot going on personally. I do hope to share, yes with perfect strangers. How ironic. I like to consider myself an optimistic person, and that there is always good to be found. But as the days pass, I am finding it harder and harder to find the good. As I type this I have a huge knot in my throat. Who ever said it gets easier as time goes on, has no idea. Its not easier, its harder for my. I am not ok! I try to be, but I simply cant put the fake smile on anymore. I've cried more this year than I ever have in my entire life.  Everything seems to bother me. My overthinking brain is my own worst enemy. I can hurt myself better than anyone that I know. Its pretty sad actually. I'm sure this has ruined some of my relationships. Day 8 of Fasting

 I'd say Happy Monday, but its a Monday...  This am before my therapy appointment I prepped 2 juices. I for breakfast and 1 for after my work out/lunch.  I just left the gym and am enjoying coconut water as I type this. It was a pretty good work out. I am not 100% sure but I believe this machine is the Recubent Cross Trainer. I will find out next time.  And here is me. It was a good sweat. Gym weight 158.  Today I am going to see if I am getting enough protein. Normally I donate plasma twice a week, and I am going today. Fingers crossed!  Not only was I able to donate plasma, but my protein level was higher than it had ever been. Normally I am in the the 6 range, the last few weeks I have been at 6.0 which is the lowest my protein can be to donate plasma. I have even been below it, when I was deferred from donating for a week when it went below 6.0. Today my plasma was 7.1!! All from choosing the right vegetables to juice and possibly the added protein powd...

Weekend fasting update

 Saturday I think I ended up having 4 juices total, along with water and coconut water. I have added a plant based protein that I found at Walmart. I did of course research first and found out pea protein is good. I was able to find this:  I don't use it with every juice. I used it at dinner time or before or after the gym.  Saturday night was date night and the boyfriend brought food back. I did have a few bites but nothing to consider a meal and I am ok with this. I will not be perfect all the time, I can only do what I can do. Besides, not many people understand juicing and think you're starving yourself. I dont believe this, and it wasn't the case.  Here is one of my juices from Saturday.  Sunday I was ok in the morning, since I brought a juice over for date night for the morning. Fasting day 6

 Today when I woke up, I laid in bed for a bit, until I heard a noise outside. I got up, rather quick and saw nothing but black when I got to my window. I gave it a second to catch my bearings and was okay. I am not sure if this is a symptom of fasting or I just got up to fast.  Today's juice is delicious!  1 medium beet 2 celery 1 cucumer 1 large green apple 1 spirulina capsule   For anyone interested, I found these 100% coconut water. Nothing else added.  I attempted to hit the gym today. All I did was cardio. I did a 20 minute brisk walk with a five minute cooldown on the treadmill. And then I did 30 minutes on the bike. And I felt good. I did weigh myself afterwards. I was at 156.8. I haven’t weighed that in years. This year alone I have lost 20lbs total. First I started with Herbalife and walking.  I will have to take a picture.
